You asked, we listened: Introducing Life 101
How many times have you heard, said, or thought; "Isn't there a class that teaches high school students about basic life skills like how to live on your own, plan, and be a responsible adult?"
Big Rapids High School is thrilled to share an addition to our high school curriculum - Life 101. This innovative class is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of the real world.
The curriculum is structured to cover a wide array of topics, ensuring that students are well-prepared to face the challenges of adulthood. From understanding basic financial principles to cultivating effective problem-solving skills, Life 101 aims to empower students with the tools they need to thrive in various aspects of their lives.
We believe that education should extend beyond the confines of textbooks and classrooms. Life 101 is our commitment to providing students with a well-rounded education that extends into the realms of personal development and real-world application.
Launched last fall, Life 101 has been well received by students thus far. We look forward to continuing to shape well-rounded, resilient individuals who are prepared to face the challenges and embrace the opportunities that life presents.
